Responsibilities:

This position requires you to work with an agile team of software engineers, development and QA managers, and cloud ops/customer success leads to define, prioritize and manage the product roadmap and full product life cycle of CxCommerce™, our cloud-based customer experience platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, define, hire, retain and motivate high performance team consisting of managers, junior and senior level software engineers
• Lead the evolution of the PhaseZero EMACS™ technology platform and CxCommerce™ SaaS platform, to serve the need of multiple industries globally
• Define long-term roadmap and drive release planning and execution
• Lead the design, architecture, and development processes
• Collaborate closely with peers and global management teams to ensure successful outcomes and improve business processes
• Play a critical role in shaping the product & technical vision for the team while working closely with product, business, and engineering leadership across the company on a regular basis
• Define and influence key requirements and features for new capabilities and ongoing improvements, working closely with other stake holders including product management teams
• Nurture the culture of experimentation, fail fast and learn fast

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development
• Deep knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycle
• Strong design, architecture, and problem-solving skills
• Strong track record of hiring and developing talent with engineering management experience
• Multiple years of experience leading end-to-end engineering teams building enterprise SaaS applications deployed on AWS or Azure cloud infrastructures
• Experience building Web-based software with Postgres SQL, NoSQL
• Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate and other frameworks
• Passion for building data driven culture, growing talents and hunger for making big impact
• Strong interest and curiosity in leveraging the latest in tech to solve customer problems
• Experience in communicating with end users, technical & business teams to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs
• Experience meeting goals in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing needs
• Demonstrated success building cross-functional relationships in a dynamic, global environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Know how to work with customers and articulate their challenges
• Functional knowledge of ecommerce, supply chain, and order management

Desired/Plus:

• Experience in building advanced data pipelines and machine learning modules
• Experience in building scalable, highly available cloud-native architecture
• Experience with enterprise grade workflow business processes
• Experience with highly scalable API gateway technologies

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or associated field. Master’s preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• Extensive experience in leading teams and mentoring
• Experience working closely with customers, prospects, and partners
• Experience with supply chain, CRM and other enterprise business systems
